Pets

Pets are not allowed at Steppe Arena. Only customers who require the use of service animals may enter the facility. Please contact the arena in advance if any arrangements are required.

Photographs and Videos

The use of audio, video, or digital recording equipment is prohibited except by members of accredited media outlets.

Photographic equipment with detachable lenses is permitted based on the following specifications:

• Detachable lenses must be less than 13 cm long and less than 9 cm in diameter.
• The width and length of the camera should not exceed 8 cm.
• The total length of the camera and detachable lens should not exceed 22 cm.

All other equipment is prohibited, including selfie sticks, wide-angle cameras, lights, microphones, electrical connections, tripods, grips, large bags, and tripods. Be cautious when using other devices that may interfere with operation by making a loud noise.

The Steppe Arena management reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the use of the allowed camera and audio equipment.

For other events (concerts, family shows, etc.) for terms and conditions that apply to audio and video, see the relevant page. Only standard cameras (without detachable lenses) are allowed. Please leave your camera in your vehicle if photography is not permitted. The organizer of the game/event/exhibition reserves the right to change this policy.

It is allowed to enter the Steppe Arena with a camera if the photos and videos taken or recorded inside the arena are used for non-commercial purposes. Steppe Arena does not have the right to grant trademarks or copyrights to photographs and video recordings of the events.

Use of Electronic devices

Conditional use of electronic equipment is permitted and is for personal use only. The usage of electronic devices is prohibited at concerts and performances, and the conditions will be decided by the event organizer.

Use of iPads, iPods, tablets, eReaders, and portable video game devices is permitted subject to the following conditions:

• Not disturb others;
• Not restrict the viewing conditions of others;
• Not restrict the access of other guests and customers to and from the seating;
• Not raise the device/s above the head level;
• Not to be used for sound and video recording of the event and not to violate the rights of others or invade privacy;
• On conditions when the wireless network is free and public;

Electronic devices shall be used only for personal entertainment and/or business purposes. The sound and screen lights should be kept to a minimum possible and must be turned off when the National Anthem is playing, and when the arena is dark, and when necessary.

A customer who has the right or permission to use an electronic device shall have the responsibility for any risk/s or accident/s that may occur due to the use of the device. The user/owner of an electronic device acknowledges that the device/s used by him/her could be accidentally or otherwise damaged or destroyed. In this case, Steppe Arena is not responsible for the compensation, repair, or any other costs of the device.

Arena management reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of use of the approved devices at any time.

The Arena management has the right to refuse entry to its facilities or expel the user/owner of an electronic device who violates this Device Use and Terms of Policy.

Signage/Symbols/Flags and Banners

Signs/Symbols/Flags are permitted during basketball games held at the Arena. At other events such as concerts, family events, etc., Signs/Symbols/Flags, or Banners of any kind are prohibited, but they may be waived at the request of the event organizer.

Signs/Symbols/Flags and Banners used in approved events are to comply with the following guidelines:

Signs/Symbols/Flags and Banners should not block or obscure the customer’s view or other signs or ventilation systems. Materials and sizes shall be appropriate for installation and shall not exceed 0.9144 x 0.6096 meters.

The information on the Signs/Symbols/Flags and Banners must not contain personal information, or be vulgar or offensive.

Signs/Symbols/Flags and Banners may not be nailed or hung anywhere in the facility.

Be willing and prepared to place any non-acceptable Signs/Symbols/Flags and Banners or their legs or supports back in your vehicle.

Also, if deemed necessary, the Steppe Arena management reserves the right to terminate the above guidelines without prior notice.

Umbrella

Umbrellas are allowed to be brought into Arena. It is recommended that umbrellas are placed under the seats during the event. Keep the umbrella folded.

Whistle

The use of whistles is prohibited during events. Whistles are prohibited during the competition as they may confuse the athletes and affect the outcome of the match.

Bag

• Carry-on bags smaller than 15×20 cm are permitted. They may not normally be required to go through bag control or x-ray screening equipment.
• Transparent bags; baby bags; medical and first aid bags are allowed but are subject to bag inspection and X-ray inspection.

Note that there may be long lines at the baggage check-in line. Steppe Arena’s bag/luggage policy will be determined by the event organizer and may vary from event to event. Please see the relevant event page for further information.

• Guests entering the Arena could be searched according to relevant law/s. The refusal shall be grounds for access denial.
• All guests over the age of 3 years must have a valid ticket to enter an event. Some events may require a ticket for everyone, regardless of age.
• Readmittance to the Arena is prohibited once exiting the venue.
• Smoke and electronic cigarettes are prohibited inside the Arena and allowed only at designated areas outdoors. /Мөсөн өргөө дотор утаат болон электрон тамхи татахыг хориглох бөгөөд зөвхөн гадна талбайд тэмдэглэгээ бүхий цэгт тамхи татахыг зөвшөөрнө./

Please note that there may be amendments to the requirements and changes when you visit the Steppe Arena in the future. For everyone’s safety, we ask our guests to familiarize themselves and adhere to our rules. These regulations and requirements shall be updated based on standards, public health, and government guidelines.

• • Please sit per your seat number, as the seats are assigned/reserved for valid tickets only.  
  • Keep the space between the rows clean and tidy. Stairs and steps must be unobstructed in case of emergency. Visitors are not allowed to sit in the space between the rows or on the steps.  
  • You may leave the rink and enter the seating area during warm-ups, games, and post-game. Be alert to avoid injury. In case of injury from the puck or in any other way, go to the First Aid Room immediately, or call the nurse. Arena attendants shall provide the necessary assistance. Please see the Tickets page for more information on alerts. 

We expect our guests and customers to conduct themselves properly.  Steppe Arena shall not accept obscenities, abusive language, gestures, quarrels, fights, etc., and such incidents will result in expulsion from the venue or be grounds for arrest by relevant authorities.  

In the event of such behavior, please notify the nearest ticket inspector or employee immediately.  

Seat Changes 

The Arena management has the right to change or transfer the seating arrangement/s depending on the specifics of any events.  

Cheering 

The media has highlighted the Steppe Arena as one of the loudest and most crowded sports facilities in Mongolia. Although we love to entertain our fans, we also have a responsibility to follow the ground rules and the law. Some fans like to cheer while standing, while others prefer to cheer while sitting. Fans seated have the right to view the event from their seats without obstruction.

Among our guests are many customers with mobility issues who cannot enjoy standing up like everyone else. Dear fans, please be kind and understanding to those around you.  

Throwing objects 

For safety reasons, spectators are not allowed to throw objects onto the field. If the action could have had serious consequences, the Customer shall be blacklisted and will not be allowed to enter the Steppe Arena at any event in the future.  

Accessing the field 

Entry into the playing field or other restricted areas of the Arena is strictly prohibited and may result in expulsion/arrest. 

Carrying a child on one’s shoulders  

For safety reasons, carrying small children on your shoulders is forbidden. The floor of the Arena may be slippery.

Smoking is prohibited 

Steppe Arena does not allow smoking, including electronic cigarettes. Smoking outside is allowed only in designated areas.  

No loitering/panhandling 

Panhandling/offering auto transport or other services/promoting goods and services/placing billboards, distributing ads/holding raffles, etc., are prohibited inside and outside the Arena.  

Illegal access is prohibited 

Only guests, colleagues, and customers with valid tickets may enter the Arena.  

Improper parking and parking in prohibited places 

It is prohibited to park vehicles on roads, lawns, and traffic roads. All guests must follow the instructions of the security, traffic, and parking staff. Violators may be subject to fines by the local police and towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.  

Parking and driveways 

Safe and responsible use of parking lots and driveways is recommended. It is prohibited to drift, race, block entrances, exits, and traffic areas, and violate signages.  

Ball playing, roller skating 

Ball games and roller skating are not allowed inside or outside the Arena, as they are considered risky. In the case of roller skating, you will be asked to remove your skates.  

Tailgating 

Following other vehicles is permitted in parking lots. One parking space per vehicle. When using a grill, follow the “Open Fire Procedures”.  

Open fire procedures 

Open fire* is prohibited on the property of the Arena.  

*Barbeque cooking is allowed only in the parking lot with proper safety measures in place. It is prohibited to use grills near sidewalks, covered or uncovered structures, or in areas where damage to structures or customers’ property may occur.  

Damages to bushes, shrubs, plants, or the appearance of the facilities  

Without the management’s permission, no one is allowed to cut, remove, or trees, shrubs, flowers, plants, topsoil, or sod of the Arena. It is prohibited to damage, destroy, or move the surface of the facility, its structure, accessories, or property.  

Drone, pilotless equipment 

To protect the safety and privacy of guests, spectators, renters, advertisers, and property, the unauthorized use or operation of drones/UAS/UAVs over our parking lots, owned or leased areas are prohibited.  

Fines

Violation of the Steppe Arena policies, regulations, and other laws may result in removal from the facilities and may be subject to fines, and legal action/s. Violators may also be banned from future events and could be blacklisted. The party against whom the action is taken may submit a written request or file a complaint.
